They are all around the insection of Kotze & Bourke street in Pretoria, that has changed completely due to an A Re Yeng station.

Thanks for getting involved on the editing side of Waze. I may have jumped the gun here a bit, as I’ve fixed most of this mess. I was wondering what the bus stop was doing in the middle of the intersection.
When posting an unlock request, please include the area and highest lock, and what your editor level is in the subject line, so in this case, “L5 > L1 unlock in Sunnyside, Pretoria”.
That way if you’re requesting a L4 > L1 unlock, an L4 editor AM in that area can unlock the segments for you.
I’m a Cape Town based editor, and have no idea where Kotze and Borke streets are in the country, so please make use of permalinks, as then the editor responding to your unlock request can just click in the link, and they are taken straight there.
As an example, this is Kotze St.
Please check that I haven’t screwed anything up in that area. The streetview images are from March 2015, so aren’t too old. Last time I was in Sunnyside was back in '80 or '81!

Since you’re from the area, can you see what this UR is about?
I can’t see any signs in the March 2015 Streetview images that prevent turning right off Kotze St northbound into Leyds St. The GPS traces clearly show that Wazers have done so in the past, so maybe there are some recent changes at that intersection that I’m not seeing.

Turn restrictions for Leyds and Kotze seem correct to me but the Are Yeng closures page seem to indicate otherwise despite being dated to 2014 (it’s listed as current on the bottom right)
As for the changes to Kotze and Bourke goes it looks fine to me bar a possible missing slipway from Kotze into Bourke if travelling East… but I’m not 100% sure it’s still open. There is definitely a bus stop right in the middle of the intersection though as per the place layer.
Edit: streetview seems to show the aforementioned slipway as closed.

How long did this construction take? Looking at SV images at this junction, when viewing from Relly St southwards over Kotze St, in Nov 2013, Kotze is effectively closed except for residents, while when viewing northwards from the other side of Kotze St, with a March 2015 image, the construction is complete!
I expect the dates on the Are Yeng site are because of the construction hence the closures. According to that site, those intersections re-opened on 06 August 2014, over a year ago.
Jacques, maybe you want to ask the reporter for some more detail, as nothing looks obviously wrong,
Construction was pretty quick - I’d say around 10 months. I’ll probably take a drive down there sometime soon and confirm all the closed/open streets.

Turning right is indeed not allowed as reported. It was before, but nit since the A Re Yeng bus lanes were completed. In fact, turning right is not allowed at any intersections where the bus lanes are in the middle of the street and there is only one lane for other vehicles. In this case, turning right into Leyds St is not allowed whether you are traveling east or west on Kotze St.
Unfortunately I am still lvl 1, so can’t change the turning permissions. If you could unlock the following segments, I will change them:

I’m not doubting you, but this must have been a recent change, as a Waze Street View (WSV) image from March 2015 clearly shows a car turning right out of Kotze St northwards into Leyds St, nor does it look impossible to do so, as it is at the other intersections, which is why both Kyle and I believe that the current restrictions, or lack there of, look fine.
This is where eyes on the ground can provide very valuable and up to date info, and even more so when those reporters get involved in editing their local roads.
It drives me nuts when people create a General Error Update Request (GE UR), with no additional info, and then don’t respond to requests for more info. The more detailed the initial UR is, the quicker map errors can be resolved.
At any rate, I’ve dropped the lock of all four of the segments at this junction to L1.
Your permalinks work fine, but you could have made that request a single link, by using the multi select option, which you toggle by pressing “m”, m being for multi. Also when requesting unlocks, you need to include all the connected segments, as if even one is above your editor level, you won’t be able to change anything.

That car in the screenshot, is breaking the rules, in other words, making an illegal turn. Turning right is not impossible, just not allowed. The below screenshot is taken east of Leyds St and as you will see, there is a “No Right Turn” sign just before the intersection.
I have updated the turn to what I know is legal. My previous offices were just up the street, so I know the area quite well and have seen first hand how the bus lanes have changed the areas’ streets.

Thanks for taking the time to fix this issue. I’ve relocked those segments back to L3.
Can I ask that you include a short comment about what you did to resolve a UR, so that the reporter has an inkling that there are some humans on the other side.
You also need to include a comment that the updates usually take a few days to be processed, and then be reflected on the client, otherwise they’ll expect it to have been fixed, reporting the error again the next day. If you choose to follow the conversation, the reporter can respond if they so wish, even after you’ve resolves the UR.
Here are a several canned responses that you can adapt and use for yourself.
The only exception for this rule is if you are closing your own URs.
