Elevation--how much do they matter?

Coming back to Canada (and my car) soon, looking to get back into Waze editing. Also, any changes since April I should be aware of?

I was just staring at the Live Map while figuring out road closures, and I noticed that you can actually tell apart underground roads. And then I realized parts of Toronto is in District 13–many neighbourhoods are underground!

Is this something someone should bother fixing? I don’t have access to the Canadian maps on mobile at the moment.

Welcome back. With Waze things are changing very quickly, but I don’t think anything is substantially different since April.

As for elevation, read this wiki page - https://wiki.waze.com/wiki/Creating_and_editing_road_segments#Road_elevation.

If you’re using the WME Toolbox, there is a highlight option to see elevation changes. The segment in your OP should be reset to zero.

They should definitely be fixed.
