As a long time Garmin user, I am accustomed to being able to download the GPS points/tracks that make up a drive from my device and use their utility, Basecamp, to analyze a given trip in conjunction with the map.
I found the Waze Map Editor about a month ago, and it does pretty much the same thing except for the fact that I cannot find any way to examine the various tracks, the list of GPS locations taken automatically during the course of a drive, in the Map Editor or elsewhere in the "official" Waze utilities I've been able to find.
I like to be able to go back and review drives, and particularly stops I've made on drives, which when using Basecamp show up as a track/point where your speed is 0.0 for an extended period of time. I would like to be able to do the same thing with my Waze drives. Is such possible and, if so, what does one need to do in order to do so?
Thanks very much for taking the time to answer my query. Like you, I was quite hopeful that this script would do exactly what it says, but alas it gets close, but the Export function is not working.
If you look on that thread I am one of the posters toward the very end of the thread. I have tried this script, under Tampermonkey, on both Firefox and Chrome and both behave precisely the same way. I can select a drive and activate the radio button for the export format, but the Export button does nothing when activated. I have used Everything to search my entire machine to see if the GPX or KML files were landing somewhere I simply wasn't looking, but no new files are being created upon export.
Again, I appreciate your taking the time to respond. I cannot understand why this particular function is not "native" to Waze itself. Lots of people like to analyze the tracks of their various drives.
I see that. There was a note after yours about your comment being for WME Export rather than WME DrivesData. Have you tried WME DrivesData? And who knows, as Waze adds more and more functionality to the editor, maybe some day we will have a native export function.
For the record at least WME Export runs. I have uninstalled it, installed WME DrivesData, and although that script is installed and enabled I get nothing even vaguely like what’s shown for the controls and Tampermonkey indicates no scripts are running.
It’s really frustrating, as I consider tracks to be really basic data. The script writers have given it their best, I’m sure, but this is a function that should not be “external” to Waze itself. It needed to be added a long time ago, but pleas for same seem to have fallen on deaf ears.
If anyone can tell me if I could somehow be doing something wrong with regard to either script I am happy to experiment. It looks like WME Export is being more actively maintained than WME DrivesData.
As an aside, what’s the deal with Wazeopedia? Any attempt to get to it has given me this result:

While I appreciate your taking the time to respond, I have already tried WME Export Trajet and said so earlier in this topic. I did not include "Trajet" since the distinction between WME Drives Data and WME Export Trajet didn't require it.
I can get it to install, but it does not export. Every step up to hitting the Export button works, but hitting said button results in nothing happening.
