Hello Waze Team,
First of all, thank you for creating such an amazing navigation app that millions of people rely on every day.
I would like to suggest a new feature that I believe would add significant value to Waze users: a “Group Drive” or “Convoy Mode”.
Many times, families, friends, colleagues, motorcycle groups, or travelers drive to the same destination in multiple vehicles. During the trip, people often call each other to ask:
• Where are you?
• How far behind are you?
• Are you close?
• What is your ETA?
My idea is to allow users to create a shared trip and invite other Waze users to join.
Potential features:
• Real-time location of all group members on the map.
• Personalized icons for each driver.
• Ability to tap a driver and see:

Distance from me
-
ETA
-
Position relative to me (ahead or behind)
• One-tap return to my own navigation screen.
• Notifications when a participant stops, leaves the route, or arrives.
• Privacy controls so participation is always optional.
This feature could be extremely useful for:
• Family trips
• Friend gatherings
• Motorcycle groups
• Caravan travel
• Company events
• Road trips involving multiple vehicles
I believe this feature would reduce unnecessary phone calls, improve coordination, and make group travel much more enjoyable and safer.
