Incorrect roadwork warnings (from Trafikverket)

For about two months now, I’ve been getting several daily warnings about roadworks between home and the E14. During that entire time, I haven’t seen a single sign of work, workers, machinery, or any measures affecting traffic.

That looks strange. @mahava, can you check if anything’s been reported in beta about this error and, if not, file a bug?

Yes, checking / fixing as soon as I can

Hi again, checked a bit and I don’t see any reports of weird roadworks etc., the closest thing is that they change to a closed lane but that’s not the case here

, I don’t really see anything in WME, is there anything I can do to replicate? I can’t report bugs I don’t have or can’t replicate either unfortunately,

Hi everyone! Unfortunately, the integration with TrV is anything but good; right now, I think it’s worse than before.

  • The fact that information about roadworks that ended long ago remains is a problem
  • Roads being closed 24/7 instead of only at night is another.
  • The wrong sections being closed

Partly, it’s the human factor according to our contact there; there are humans, not robots, working there too, and TrV naturally only enters the information they receive from those carrying out the roadworks. This is not something TrV monitors themselves.

I believe there should be opportunities to join the Waze Partnership Program as a map editor; then we would get access to TrV’s map editor for Waze and could possibly go in and change/remove what’s wrong ourselves.

In our editor, we don’t see any of this.

Yes, maybe that’s something we should bring up with Dana?!
