Our cottage in Maine’s address used to be 31 Brant Road, South Bristol, ME 04568. Only members of our family, the Sewall’s, own houses on this road. We worked with the Town of South Bristol to change the name of the road two years ago. According to the town, the State of Maine, USPS, UPS, Sewall Road is recognized and correct.
Waze/Google have this road as Fire Rd 4, a very old designation that predates Brant Road. State of Maine required all townships to use GPS and provide proper street names at least 10 years ago. This change was when they got rid of Rural Route Delivery for USPS in our area. The town arbitrarily chose Brant Rd.
I am a level 1 editor. I can’t change the name on the Waze map from Fire Rd 4 to Sewall Rd to correct this error.
In addition, this is a road with a circle. The flow on that circle is ALWAYS counter clockwise. Waze shows Fire Rd 4 as clockwise flow. The circle is a one way circle and this needs to be corrected. An accident might happen.
Would someone please help me out and correct these two errors?

Thanks for reaching out to us. Actually, I can see that ME GIS calls this road Sewall Rd. I have made that correction in Waze as well as change the direction on the circle. I have added in house numbers for 31 and 35. There was no house number in the GIS for the house that is further back beyond 35. If that is a house on Sewall I can also add that house number as well. Since our satellite view had improved over the years, I could see that the road was not well aligned, so I have adjusted that the match street view.
