[Fixed] Unlock - A406 Hangar Lane/Uxbridge Road

Hi,

I was visiting my friend in Ealing Common and used Waze to route the drive. AS I had driven that road I knew the route by heart and checked Waze for routing issues. It was all good except closer to destination it showed incorrect route.

I came back home and logged on to check the problem. One was a missing road which I added.

Another was incorrect turn restirction, but on the map it seemed ok so didn’t understand why I wasnt allowed to turn, but rather asked to take the next turn and effectively come back. So looked at the suggested turn during the drive which was incorrect on the map and found few issues.

Now to correct them I deleted the road(Hangar Lane/Gatcombe Mews) to A406 hopping to add the correct road, but found out A406 is locked by level 5 editor. So I couldnt revert my mistake, by undo as I had saved nor I could add back the road.

so please can area manager undo my changes or add the road, or unlock and let me know and I will add the road back.

Can you post a permlink of the locked road, as I can not see any,.

I’ve put the deleted road back in for you.

One thing I should point out is that whenever you add a road on the map you should name it to stop it staying red. If there is no name and city to be added then you should still click on “Edit” and check the “None” boxes so it changes from “Unnamed segment” to “No street, No city, United Kingdom”.

I’ve left this for you to go back and do later.

I guess this is compounded here by a distinct lack of city names in the area :frowning:

Thanks for sorting this out.

I have named this an unnamed road, as it is literally unnamed not known turn many people are not aware of. Was wondering why is it that it stayed red, so a new thing learned - thanks.
