France community contribution during the extreme heat wave

Hi All,

Due to the extreme heat wave in France last week, Waze activated high pollution alerts in 6 cities across France (Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Annecy, Grenoble, Strasbourg).
Users driving in high pollution areas got a warning message to remind them which Crit’air pass is permitted in that particular area.
The alerts lasted for one week, the longest high pollution alert period we’ve ever had in France.

The French community provided Waze with all the official information on which we based our routing on to all users. We couldn’t have done it without you! Special Thank to Kpouer who updated me on each change.

Oh oui : ils ont effectué un travail compliqué jusqu’à des horaires impossibles, avec un KPouer toujours disponible, lui aussi à des horaires impossibles !

Grand merci à tous (bien que je trouve qu’il n’y a pas assez de communication là dessus, Waze étant, à ce jour, le seul GPS offrant cette option…).
