The average speed check and permanent 50mph limit has now been removed from this entire stretch. The overhead matrix signs are now also displaying variable speed limits - still largely set to 50 but I noted a couple of exceptions (of 60) as I drove this route earlier. Might it be time to up the limit on Waze to 70 now?
