GA - wrong direction

Hi there,

We’ve received a map update request to Waze support and we’re posting here on the user’s behalf. The link to this post will be forwarded for the user to follow up.

This is the user’s request:

My address is 3786, Hwy 20 E, McDonough Georgia 30252. We are located just east of kellytown rd. Off of Hwy 20 E The actual 1/2 mile winding road to our home is missing from the Waze maps. Any deliveries that we are expecting using Waze maps , unfortunately can not be delivered because you have our address west of kellytown rd going to a neighbors home. See photo in attachment of the correct directions through google

The issue has been fixed. Just waiting for the map to update. This will take a couple of days.

To get rid of this corrupted location, please do the following, tap “Where to?”, scroll to look for 3786, Hwy 20 E, McDonough GA. The next step depends on your version of Waze.

  • If you see three dots to the right, tap the dots, then tap “Remove”
  • If you DO NOT see the three dots, press on your destination for a few seconds until another menu appears. Tap “Remove drive”. You can also swipe left on the destination and tap Options to pull up this menu.
    Keep doing this until all copies of your destination are removed. You might have to shutdown and restart the app for the deletion to take affect.

Perform these steps if your destination is also in Saved places, Home, and/or Work.

Then, please tap “Where to?” and search for 3786, Hwy 20 E, McDonough GA again. You should see a teardrop shape on the left. If not, please check your search history/Saved places/Home/Work again as the destination is still in your device cache.
