Gigantic bodies of water (outside the CM area)

This started as an issue with a couple of PURs on what I initially thought to be an unreasonably large body of water. Turns out it’s two, and they are gigantic:
196,320,122,280 m2 and 165,495,983,918 m2 to be exact :shock:

Unfortunately I can’t edit them as as Cyprus CM area only covers a small part of them. They span all the way from Greece/Egypt to Cyprus all Lebanon/Syria/Turkey..!

Can we please split the Venues to more manageable sizes. While we do that, we must ensure that the parts including coastline detail must be retained.

I’m including a 3rd link/screenshot to demonstrate how coastlines are generally managed.

Hi Natalia, if I could get temporary editing rights in the area I can fix the issues myself no problem. Would that be an option?

In this case I would ask you to reach your Community Manager to talk about the issue. The problem may be related to different geographical areas so should be discussed with editors there.

So there are two issues - please accept my apologies for mixing them up.

  1. Resize Venues - I’ll discuss this with my Community Manager.
  2. Decline four PURs on this Venue
