Hi just got caught out because Hinder and Hibberson St still closed. Work delayed again.

I have just had help to add a turn restriction in which should finish when the road reopens. I will keep an eye on it.
Still need help adding the Light Rail stuff.

Hi Geoff,
Its good to have a local keeping an eye on these closures. Most closures are being added by Waze HQ according to published schedules, however as you note they can run late or even early.
Adding a turn restriction will work but only takes effect when the map tiles are updated which can take days (sometimes even longer)**. The most immediate way to deal with these is a closure (which takes effect immediately). But only level 4+ editors can add or remove closures. I suggest asking for closures in the unlock/update forum.

**Edit: I just checked the tile updates as https://status.waze.com and its been over a week since the last international tile update.

Current live map has Hibberson St and Gungahlin Pl East back in place (Although this is not the case on the road). Just waiting for my changes to be updated to the live map.
Incorrect Junction Comment has come up on the Kate Crace Intersection after glomp(6) ‎updated for me.

Hi,
Today I added a closure near Flemington Road that had not been entered by Waze HQ. The closure had sort of been reported in a UR.

I checked the ACT road closures website and it appears there a few upcoming closures in the same area (and perhaps others elsewhere) that haven’t been added to Waze by Waze HQ.

Hey Everyone,
The closures of Gunaghlin Pl between Ernest Cavanagh St and Efkarpidis have expired, however the roads aren’t open yet.

Gungahlin Bus Station Development is progressing. Just spotted another closure on ACT Government site.
This hasn’t been added to the map yet.

I couldn’t see any closures listed for Gunaghlin Place (East) From Ernest Cavanagh Street to Hibberson, however this road is still not open.

PS, local mailbox drop said Hibberson between Hinder St and Gungahlin Place would reopen as a one way road. I am still holding my breath on that one.

I just got a letter from the construction company for the Bus interchange.
I will request the closures in the AU Unlock and Update Requests thread.
