Heads-up: IGN is active in southern Florida

I’ve seen some recent (made in the past few days) edits by IGN in the Sarasota County area. Some are OK, some are curious (updating a railroad segment for a railroad that has been gone for years – as evidenced by the remnants of the trestle in the water below), but a few are going to cause problems (e.g., paving parking lots with “streets” and leaving them with the potential for through-routing).

I’ve passed an example of a more serious error (the routable parking lot) on to waze, but I’m sure there are others that I haven’t come across-- so, be on the lookout for oddities popping up in recent edits.

Oh boy, here we go again. Sarasota is just south of my editable area but I’ll keep an eye on Tampa/St Pete. Thanks for the heads up!

Awesome!

Last time they came through, it took 2 months to recover.

I’ll be on the lookout as well. Count me in!
As a side note, most IGN’s do not have editing privileges higher than 2. I would suggest locking any sensitive data (an AM’s lock should be sufficient to deter them)
