Hidden Spinx?

I’ve gotten two UR’s so far that “there’s no Spinx here”

There’s a Spinx to the south that I’ve updated data on and such. I’m thinking this is an error in the invisible gas layer that we don’t have access to? Any advice?

I’m guessing it is a now deleted landmark. The landmark layer does not update as frequently as the road layer. But it should eventually drop off.

Just got another UR about it.

I’m still thinking this is a hidden gas layer bug of some kind. What do I tell the user who reported it?

Another thing I’ve noticed, on the livemap just a little bit north of there:

https://www.waze.com/livemap?lon=-82.32818&lat=34.87452&zoom=17

There’s this vague green landmark of some kind, but on the editor:

https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=6&lat=34.8737&lon=-82.32767&layers=TBFTFFTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT&env=usa

It’s just a parking lot, without even a parking lot landmark.

What gives?

See Weeezer14’s post, above. Give it some time. Those were inappropriately mapped parking lots, someone apparently correctly deleted them. It will take a while for them to clear from the map.

Also, the Bi-Lo and McDonald’s landmarks should not exist, either.
