HN's for a street not connected to the named street

Have a user who reports that their address on Victor Ave is only accessible from the next street over, Utica Ave.

We have a PLR going through the area in question.

Is the recommended fix to name and address the PLR?

I’d take the house numbers off of Victor that cannot actually be accessed from Victor and use residential places for those houses.

Any update on this? Has this been proven to be a reliable option for houses that have a physical address that is not accessible, and only accessible from another street?

Yes, residential places work just as well (or even better, because they get updated realtime for search results).

A residential place is the way I have been shown to do this. It works the best without stopping the wazer on the wrong street.

Yes, residential places work well. You may occasionally get an error trying to save a new one. If you do, the solution is to remove the corresponding HN, wait 2 tile updates, then you’ll be able to create it. Apparently there’s a hidden HN layer that’s only updated every other tile update, once that’s been updated to reflect the deletion, the conflict goes away. None of this is documented anywhere I’ve found, and details may have changed, but the solution still works.
