How can a business prevent inaccurate edits to business info?

On Monday (a holiday) someone changed our business (Ski Bradford) hours to CLOSED when we were open. Obviously, this prevented or limited Wazers from coming to our business that day. What steps can a business take to prevent things like that from happening again (other platforms allow a business to claim their entry so only they can edit/make changes - I haven’t been able to find the equivalent here)…

Can you take a look at the hours listed for your business? These were recently updated. Are they correct? (Not sure why Monday is listed on its own)bradford.png

As Mondays are often holidays - Mondays schedule can change (on Holidays it’s more like a weekend day than a week day).
They are correct now.
They were correct last weekend.
They were NOT correct on Monday when someone changed them to say we were closed (when we were open).

Hence my question: how can a business (and Waze) protect itself from inaccurate information/edit’s being posted?

They weren’t actually changed last Monday to indicate you were closed. Don’t get me wrong…someone did change them in an attempt to correct them.

What happened is the previous hours were wrong, but in an odd way. They were set for Monday open noon to 9am on Tuesday. There is a recent bug that popped up causing something with hours that go over midnight to show as closed. So it wasn’t a Wazer that intentionally updated your hours to indicate you were closed.

The corrected hours should keep this from happening again.
