How can I add multiple destinations?

I’ve searched everywhere and get conflicting answers/instructions. How can I add more than one destination to a route? Link explaining this would be very helpful.

Right now the app can only add a destination to the middle of the route. Start a route to your final destination. Once that route is active, search for your next destination and begin routing to it but make sure to select “Add a stop” instead of “New drive”

Instructions for iOS are incorrect. There is NO ETA button on the bottom of my screen.
Tap the ETA bar at the bottom of the screenScroll down to Add a stopTap one of the icons to search for a location: Parking lots, Gas stations, Restaurants, Search barTap GoA pop up should appear with both the ETA to your stop point and the ETA to your final destination. You can view this information again at any time by tapping the ETA bar.You can also add a stop by choosing a location from your Favorites or previous drives.

The ETA bar is where the arrival time is shown at the bottom of the screen. When you tap that it opens up and there are many options. I just verified this myself right before responding.
