How do I add a friend on waze?
I have been looking afor a while now. There are a few people at work that use it and I’d like to add them as friends on my account.
You can’t. There isn’t a “friend” feature.
If you both have your accounts linked to your facebooks, and you’re friends on facebook then I think you can keep track of them that way. But as far as a dedicated waze “friend” feature… it doesn’t exist.
Oh, ok. I was curious because i saw the “First Friend on Waze” 200pt opportunity and was kind of wondering how to get it.
I think that’s earned by linking to your facebook account and having another facebook friend do the same, but I haven’t earned it yet so I’m honestly not sure.

It worked for me but it probably takes some time to process.
So connect you waze account to Facebook. One of your Facebook friends connects their Waze account to Facebook. Within a day you should see them on the Facebook part of the Scoreboard. And an achievement unlocking should follow within a day.
There is some issue with waze getting updated with your friends. Maybe looking at the scoreboard helps forgave friend list refresh?
Wayne, do you have me in your facebook list? Because I don’t have you, and I miss several others too.
I noticed that. Some show up and some don’t. There’s no logic, since people I befriended first are not yet in my list and people from just minutes ago are already there. Well, I’ll just be patient

There was another post in the Dutch forum where someone suggests that you have to reconnect your Facebook account in the Waze dashboard. So disconnect and reconnect. That worked for at least 5 people I know of.
Worked just fine for me. Took literally seconds for friends on facebook to join my scoreboard and the next time I opened waze in got the notification of another bonus sitting on the map somewhere!
