I have submitted to Waze, closures for I-84 in Portland for the repaving, as communicated by ODOT here: http://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/HWY/REGION1/Pages/i84paving-closures.aspx
I’ll post back if I get further info from Waze or if the situation changes.
This closure is now in effect for this weekend. The next two weeks have closures as well.

I don’t think the closure is working correctly. The livemap is showing 84 WB closed, and I just checked a Waze navigation to PDX…which had me taking 84 east.
I can’t post the full-size screenshot, but here’s a closeup from the livemap showing that 84 W is marked as closed, while 84 E remains marked as open.
Yes, I am aware of this. I’ve sent an email to Waze to get it corrected, or at least give me the data I submitted so I can see if I made the mistake or they did. I thought I was pretty detailed and correct in my submissions. I double-checked everything and verified with the ODOT press release prior to sending.
Well, this is embarrassing. :oops: Amit sent me back the data I submitted and the closure for this past weekend, and it looks correct to me. (Date/Time is in GMT):
If you load up that permalink, it is clearly I-84 eastbound which was supposed to be closed and that is NOT what happened.
No response from the infrastructure team yet on how this happened. :x
I’ve also double-checked the submitted permalink for the next two weekends and it is correctly submitted as westbound segments.
Ugh! I’m sorry that your hard work was for naught.
I-84 W is closed as it should be this weekend in Waze. Too bad last week was screwed up. The closure looks correct and livemap navigates around the closed segments.
