It appears another AM has deleted the Gas Station landmark that was used to mark the rest stop here, as I had it locked at level 3.
Is there a way to have it undeleted, or should I just re-add it as a new gas station landmark?
Not that I know of. Seems like an odd thing to delete.
That’s unfortunate. I don’t know why someone would just delete it–but just to make sure, when I select “lock”, I am assuming that locks the landmark at level 3, my highest level, right?
I’m not sure that was ever explicitly stated by Waze.
Alright. Well I updated and locked the landmark again, hopefully it is not removed this time around!
But is it linked to the Gas Price system?
We may have to have re-run the process that originally imported the gas station database to landmarks (but this time ONLY merge in the ones that don’t have landmarks associated with them).
No it is not linked–another editor had just recreated the gas station landmark and for now I used that to overlay for the rest area. If you guys can re-run the process for a given area, that would be helpful.
