The editor was hating me earlier today, but now that I’m worn out from all the legitimate work I did instead, it’s all apologetic and wanting to make up and everything. Yet I will resist.

Drive Safe is actually correct. You probably also have a problem with the phrase “What am I bid.”
It’s all my phone’s fault for using Tapatalk.
Drive safe, run fast, play hard, complain retrospectively. All fine and grammatically correct. I did however change it for UK English to drive safely.
