Illinois leadership is opening a local state role, Traffic Event Coordinator, to editors who have achieved at least rank 2. The primary responsibilities of this role are:
- Gathering information about events across the state from web sites, Twitter, and Facebook.* Identify those events involving road closures, from online resources and event sponsors.* Maintain state event tracking documents for current year and recurring events.* Working with AM, LAM, and SM resources to get the events on the map.
