It would be very convenient to be able to import destinations into waze either via the computer or via an email msg. Sometimes when planning a trip it is easier to do on the computer and then be able to import or transfer the destination(s) easily into waze.

I’d like to see an Address Book feature where you can import your phones address book too.
Also, if I browse email, sms, or internet on the phone, that if I click the address and the phone prompts me which app I want to use - would be nice if Waze was ever one of them.
Waze can already search the phone’s address book.
Yeah, but I don’t want to search it, I want to choose from it. Besides, if I search for my friend Sarah, it comes up with Sarah, PA, then I have to click the button to display results from my address book instead.
What device are you using out of interest? On Android you can actually come to waze via the contacts app!

Ahh I see that now in the contacts. that is good. Still would like to be to post it directly from the computer though.
Yeah I agree and hopefully one day we are able to sync with a web account. At the moment, it’s not possible.

Oh, cool, I see it on my contacts in android now. That’s what I am talking about. But now I will need to remember to go to contacts first so I can call waze from there.
It’s not perfect as you still have to request it to navigate there after opening the app. Waze need to make the app available for navigation intents too but I tire of asking!

Im on an Andoid 4.3 phone but cant find where to enable that search feature in Waze
Search contact name, get the results page, then select the contacts tab (like the Google or FourSquare tabs). This is also in the manual.
