Incomplete Segment History

On this segment, there seems to be a geometry update missing from the segment history. The latest geometry update does not move the segment to its current position. See screenshot below, with my mouse pointer hovering above the right “this”. It’s missing in both Beta and Prod.

Is this a Beta Bug that is reproducible elsewhere or is it possibly a Local Issue?

If it is a Local Issue, it should be reported in the Local Issue forum.

I don’t have time to go around and see if this has happened elsewhere. Apologies if it’s posted in the wrong forum, I’m sure a moderator can move the topic to right place.

Thank you for the report. Could you please provide more details so I can better understand the issue? Are the segment changes missing, or is there an error in how the history is displayed?

Hi Nataliia, there is an entry missing for when the geometry was updated to it’s current shape. The last geometry update showing is the orange line, which is considerably different from its current shape.

How do you notice this change? Are you using a specific script for it?

There is no script needed, it is just in the segment history. You can see on Oct 20, 2022, the geometry was changed. If you hover over the first “this” you will see what it was and the second “this” is what it was changed to that day. There is no history showing the geometry change to the current location.

Hi John,

Thank you for the answer. I hadn’t scrolled back to October 20, 2022. :oops:

However, I can now see the history of the latest change. Is this visibility exclusive to my account as of May 30, 2024?

Nataliia,
Look at the last shape from the Oct 2022 edit and the beginning shape of the last geometry change. They don’t match. Some time between Oct 20, 2022, and May 30, 2024, there was a geometry change that isn’t listed. Those two should match.Change Oct.png

Here is a new example. Note that on May 16th a speed limit was added, but there is no speed shown in the segment properties. When did it get removed?

I am following up to recheck this example. I see that the speed limit was deleted on May 17, 2024.

Thanks. When I submitted the link that change was not showing in the history for me. I definitely should have gotten a screen capture at the time.

Here is another example. Turns were changed on this segment, but it’s not showing in the history.
