Incorrect Alerts in Construction Zone

Hello,

Hoping someone can help.

There are three incorrect alerts in the construction zone on westbound I-94 in Kalamazoo (between mile markers 80 and 76). It looks like at least two of these were posted by HAAS Alert 21 days ago. The alerts are incorrect and cannot be dismissed. Note that no lanes are closed - both lanes of traffic have been rerouted on the eastbound side of I-94.

The alerts present a driving hazard, especially when drivers look down to see what the alert is while navigating through the reduced (not closed) lanes.

Thank you.Kzoo Construction Map.jpg

We are working with the feed provider to have these removed

Thank you.

Quick update - one of the incorrect alerts has been removed a while back. Two still remain. If there is logic as to why they are necessary, I cannot see it. Oddly enough, the alert that was removed was near the beginning of the construction zone, so I could see someone making an argument to keep that one. It makes absolutely no sense to say lanes are closed 1/2 and 3/4 of the way through a work zone.

Thanks for the update. These alerts are coming from a feed HAAS alerts, who are getting the data from MDOT. HAAS will need to work with MDOT to correct the data, the editors are powerless to help, other than to request HAAS remove them.

Gotcha - thank you for the explanation and quick reply.

@BigMonkeyBoy I sent you a direct message.
