When creating an Update Request (UR) on the map, the UR displays both the Waze-provided route and the actual route I followed. However, the Waze Map Editor shows a different Waze-provided route than the one I actually received during navigation. This discrepancy makes it appear as though Waze provided a different route than it actually did, which is inaccurate.
The Waze Map Editor should display the same Waze-provided route as shown during navigation.

Any chance you took a screenshot of the map in the app that could show what the actual route was? If not, could you please send the permalink to the segments which were proposed by the Waze route?
I just had this happen this morning. The Waze provided route prior to my UR is incorrect. The Waze provided route after my UR is correct. At no point did the app suggest the prior route shown in the UR. My actual route was from 69S to 82nd St
Could you please let us know if you have encountered any new instances of this problem recently? The team has added a related fix and has asked us to check if the issue is still reproducible.
I want to update you that the team has deployed a fix for the incorrect display of the ‘Waze-Provided Route’ in User Reports reported in IL.
Please keep an eye on the behavior and share your feedback, particularly if you notice any improvements. We will monitor this for a few weeks to ensure there are no unintended side effects in the ‘Waze-Provided’ route and that the fix works appropriately before proceeding with the rollout to NA and ROW.
