Since no one else came to your rescue, I took a look at this myself. I was able to reproduce your issue. I have made adjustments that should fix the issue but it will take up to a few days for them to be available in the app. I’ll check back later after they do.

Looks to be working now when searching either way. Go ahead and test for yourself. You may need to clear any cached entries in the app that have the bad location:

Go to My Waze > tap three dots next to address > tap remove. Repeat these steps in Saved places, Home, and Work. Then re-add the destination. These steps will clear the navigation cache for this address. If this is not done you will continue to get improper navigation.
