Hi, Google Maps is showing a Road Closure on I-90 NYS Thruway between exits 33-34. This event was most likely from flooding in that area over the weekend.
This flooding has been cleared, and the road is open now.
We have travelers calling the NYS Thruway asking about this road closure. How can we get this event cleared on Google maps?

Thank you for the post. I have submitted a request to Google Maps for this closure to be removed. I have also shared this with editors in Waze USA’s Google Maps request channel in hopes we can get this closure removed faster.

Hi again, @NYSTAComanzo . I received a notification that my request was approved. I checked on Google Maps and there no longer appear to be any active closures there.
