Achievements & Celebrations
As the RJ Ultra FOCUSRaid came to a close on 11th of January, we appreciate each and every editor who participated and helped improve the map in the state of Rajasthan in India.
I believe we set some sort of record by mapping 2060 petrol pumps in a single day as a team
on 18th December, 2025.
@Shabaya championed both our new segments and petrol pump mapping while he had tough competition from @kid4rm90s who got us updated both on our scripts and gis layers as well.
We had immense map suggestions and road alignment and correction from both @Franjolas and @DarkestWays who along with @himalayantth @Karlsosha and @hamehdi were truly our FOCUSRaid
s.
A lot of local info was provided by @mhawkluvr while in the background @HappySwift issued a state wide toll price update.
With expert eyes and major help coming in from senior editors on various aspects of the map @RafaCintron @MaximKiev @GotUsername & @Tahshee, the state map now has much better quality.
The team from down under was adamant at mapping more pumps than the Indian team, all thanks to efficient and responsible mapping by @lachielol @lema34 @Mitchul @PrasanthRaj06 while they even handled a crisis back home during January. @maporaptor was instrumental in getting us started during the initial mapping and we appreciate your time.
The most detailed work on our highways with an immense improvement to entry and exit ramps between segments was carried out by @DINKAFTAC @MPoleStar and @letsbliss.
The checker came into play much earlier than we had planned thanks to @iredisni developing an entirely new interface just for the FOCUSRaid and this was used very productively by @Marelitaw @magviegas and @GGDiaX. Two of our silent editors who did some meaningful inter city improvement @eyal-k and @Stomtape were late to the party but made the most of it.
We had our new local editors @thetransporter555 & @TheThorPeaceful trying out their first raid while support was given by @AyoItsConnor @tranlong5252 and @quocdatle24 from near and far. Our local Raid champion @Mavvricck got busy so we will wait for him to shine at the next raid along with @simplyroll.
Last but not the least, I would like to extend the Indian communities appreciation to @asterix06 for providing his experience and wisdom during planning stages.
Each editor who has contributed has been provided with a badge on their Discuss profile, thanks for support from Anat and this means that in any future India FOCUSRaid, the holders of this badge will get direct entry without training being necessary.
