I’m at the Bolintin Deal roundabout, the one before the A 1, with Pitesti as the destination on Waze.
Gabriela says, “enter the roundabout and take the third exit.” I did this twice and both times I ended up on the A 1, but heading towards Bucharest. The correct instruction is: take the SECOND exit, not the third. The first exit is Ithaca St and the second is Pitesti. You can also see it in the photo. It seems Gabriela also counted the exit from Ithaca St, not just the entrance.
The sign in the roundabout, indicating to pass the island on the right or left, is incorrectly placed. You CANNOT pass on the left because vehicles are coming towards the roundabout from that direction. As you can see in the photos, there are three sets of signs addressed to those coming towards the roundabout from that way. The problem is that the exit to the left of the island, which you cannot use because of oncoming traffic, is being counted as an exit from the roundabout. For Pitesti, you are instructed to leave the roundabout at the third exit. However, the third exit is towards Bucharest, not Pitesti.
