Introduce Yourself

Hi All,

I’m starting this thread as most other Forums have a place to say hello & introduce yourself to other users, but I couldn’t see one on here.

Anyway, I’m new to the forum, I started using Waze a few years ago but I’ve only recently come back after using paid navigation apps & google on my iPhone, and it has improved hugely since I last looked. I’m starting to get into the map editing side of things, although I’ve made the usual mistake of diving in feet first before actually reading how it should be done, but I’ve learned & I’m doing it properly now (and correcting my mistakes).

I drive quite a few miles around the UK, and I visit Europe a few times each year, so I’m looking forward to seeing how well Waze (and my roaming data!) cope.

Regards,

JB.

Welcome to the forum, we’re a friendly bunch.

Never be afraid to ask the ‘silly question’, there’s probably someone else who wants to know and be warned, editing can be addictive.

Happy Editing

Welcome aboard! :ugeek:

Hi, my name’s Chris and I’m a Waze-aholic.

I’m sure you’ll have fun when you start swapping countries… but I’ll let you experience that firsthand

Especially when you start driving off the Eurotunnel / Boat and get directions from a stern French woman, not ideal on a motorway doing 80mph!

Hello JB - I’m Ian. Welcome

Hi folks,

My name is mark and i am from the west yorkshire area just starting editing on WME.

I have found some general errors in my area and I am slowly making my way round the area updating things. I do have some questions and will create a new post to ask these questions

Hello Mark  and Welcome to the forums

Afternoon All,

Started using Waze a week or so ago, very impressed so far. Today I finally got around to working out how the heck Wazer Elgin had managed to list roadworks all over the Bristol area with only minimal accuracy, all is now clear! Hopefully the accuracy of Elgin data will improve.

Have looked briefly at the WME, just need to find the time for a better at the Wiki and to review my routes.

cheers

Jamie
