Invitation to the new UK Community Discord server

As the UK channel in the Waze Global Discord server has been quite popular, the admins have now decided that it’s time that the UK community has it’s own server. This will allow us to have multiple channels and the UK admins to properly moderate the content and maintain it as we see fit.

The Global’s server’s UK channel will still be active, as we have no control over that, but all UK discord chat should now be going through the new server.

I’ve found the current Discord channel to be mostly nonsense and irrelevant chatter, and with 100+ unread messages eveytime i check in it’s difficult to see any real content about WME.
Could we consider dedicated channels for WME issues and for edit requests, and keep posts in there short & relevant?

That’s exactly what this has been setup for. There are now a update/unlock request and another for closure requests.

If you have any specific ideas, please let us know, and we’ll consider.

That ‘nonsense and irrelevant chatter’ is what helps some of us feel like we are part of a community.

i also agree, especially now we have multiple channels for different things which can help spread the talking across them :slight_smile: new discord looks good IMO lol
