and thank you all active Iranians for your cooperation to making waze maps more useful for Iran, but it’s not enough yet, Iran map needs you to extending and increasing details, reporting, repairing and fixing map errors, … so come on guys! Tomorrow I’m going to have a trip in a winding road which is not on waze.
Is it possible to pave the road when there is no internet?
or any suggestions?
Hi Behnam,
It’s difficult but not impossible.
First you have to open the waze application when you have an internet connection.
Locate the end point by scrolling the map with fingers, it is necessary to load the map you’ll use when you start the navigation with the steamroller.
After reaching the destination, turn off the steamroller and without shutting down waze, be sure to get the internet signal, because the only way the coordinates of the road recorded and saved in your phone are transferred to the server of waze.

Well I did the same solution you said,
The road was not completely without internet and usually after 5-6 KM I had net but slow (Edge) & I didn’t shut off Waze before I reach the destination until I get 3G.
but it wasn’t completely successful . some parts didn’t drew and some parts drew strait line but unfortunately many parts of the road didn’t drew at all! I don’t know why because I had 2G & steamroller was showing red road beside me. and Waze opened that area for me that mean Waze received data from my app otherwise it would not able me to edit that area!
Now I am trying to complete the road with mac.
The worst thing is I just found it didn’t detect I was on that road about 20-30 K.M. of the road so that area is not editable for me & the road will stay uncompleted 
What is your suggestion about a 2 way sidetrack road type, should I set it as minor highway or any better choice?

Hi all,
why “State” for Iran is not available?
Sine Iran has 30 States & many roads betweet Cities of course are not belong to a City but they are in a state.
States are not available in all countries.
Iran Map have to be more complete. There is still lot of work.
In France, for example, it’s available since only several month.

I get this error “Same Endpoints Drivable Segments (Slow)” :!:
Yes, so you have to cut it to have 2 segments.
Yes, But please tell me why, I didn’t understand the reason clearly.
And for the routing if I cut it to 2 segments is better, or forget about this part of road is separated and make this part as one 2 way road like other parts of the road?

I’ve also checked with the validator tool, and in fact finds in yellow that message that you have indicated. The road is perfect, I have taken action to correct only the geometry. Okay so.

Still validator highlight it yellow with same warning. I need to know shall I ignore such warning for simillar errors for my future edits or there is any thing i should do.

Some new editors asking me how they can add village locations.
I didn’t find any category for villages.
Is there any category we can use or add the name of village as City in the naming of the street?

Well it’s the matter of small villages not cities or towns. The population is few but it matters for tourists to find them in map and route.

Population is 300-400 & name is:
Namar - نمار
Should be added as City? or there is any way to add as POI?
