Ensure a default issue tracker filter is already set
Using beta, customise a filter in the issue tracker without saving it. Issue tracker title says “Filtering (unsaved)”
Refresh the page
The default issue tracker filter has not loaded, it stays on “Filtering (unsaved)”
Cannot replicate this issues however if an existing saved filter is used, only unsaved.

Amazing, I always assumed that this behaviour, visible since it became possible to modify filters, was intended, to preserve the unsaved changes made to a filter, and allow saving it later.
I have checked this issue with the team and it is an intended behavior - when you click on “Apply”, filters get saved in your browser’s local storage. It won’t be reset when you refresh the page. In order to reset it you need to clear your browser’s local storage or select ‘All issues’ in the Saved search list.
Please let me know if you have further questions.
Hmm… ok. Doesn’t that kind of eliminate the point of setting a Default filter? When I open a tab and go to WME, I want it to use my default filter, not the last unsaved settings I might have been using previously.
Major
Edit to add: I just shut down Chrome completely and re-opened it. It still went to the unsaved filter and not my default. It’s not hard to pull down the list and click on my default filter, but having a default checkbox is meaningless if it doesn’t work.
Thank you for your feedback!
The default functionality is remembered for your account, so when you log out and then log back in to the WME, it should have your default options loaded.
