The Jaycox Park Sled Hill and Cross Country Ski Loop is not available in Waze or Google Maps. When one clicks the Jaycox Park link offered by Genoa Township it calls up Google Maps and takes you up I-71 where there is no exit.
I’ve fumbled around in Waze and tried to add the park entrance and parking lot to no avail. It sat unapproved so I deleted it. Is someone with higher level rights able to add the entrance and parking lot? I assume once added, the proper route (not using I-71) will take care of itself.
I approved and fixed up the place that you added. I also added a road to the entrance off of Jaycox Rd.
It will take a few days to update in the app (sometimes a bit longer).
Please remove any prior seraches from your history and favorites, then perform a new search and resave. If you don’t remove the old results, then you will continue to be routed to old coordinates.
We are all volunteers and we don’t have a lot of coverage in Ohio, so it can take a long time to find requests. Asking here is one of the faster ways to get our attention.
