I am the ARRL EC (Emergency Coordinator) for Searcy County Arkansas, I work with the local county OEM! Sheriff And Judge for setting up emergency communications protocols for times of disasters. I am also in the area Red Cross as DST Communications. I drive all over the state and county and find there are allot of roads that are not on there or come up as a county road but they are only named on the roads which is confusing for locals when trying to use the program. Would like to join in have had WAZE for 10 months and use it allot for Red Cross calls and for my business.
Welcome. Your assistance with editing in the state is great.
As with all newer editors, at a minimum read up on editing with the links below. Then as you edit more, branch out in the Waze Wiki as new situations show up. If you see editing that might not make sense initially to you, there will usually be a reason behind it. Feel free to PM me or any area manager with questions … any time.
No Problem and Ive read all of the Wiki pages and watched all of the videos; And I always strive to do my best to help out. Allot of us in Red Cross, Storm Chasing/Spotting Community and Ham radio is using this app and helping it spread to more and more people. When I was in TX from End of May to End of July last year for the floods I had people all over down there asking about the app and got them to down load it. And I had gotten it from another Ham/Red Cross member. So its traveling through the emergency services community fast.
