Junction nodes failing to generate

To put it simply, it is a sneak peek and a testing ground for future enhancements. WME Beta is like a preview program for the Waze Map Editor where you can test out new features and report bug fixes before they are released to production.

As far as I can see you are also part of it, so I assume you were asking so I can explain it to others.

Hello all,

I’d just like to let you know the the issue should now be fixed in production. Could you please verify on your end and let me know in case you can still reproduce it?

All the best,

Yes, and it also fixed a very old almost feature: When drawing a long, new segment, only the final end did connect to a connecting road segment. The start node in most cases failed to connect to the segment it branced off from. So the editors had to go back and connect them manually. This has created a huge number of bad connections in the map, so good that it is now fixed.

Thanks!

Thank you for the update @CuttySpark! I’m glad that this other issue where the start node wouldn’t connect to its “parent” segment has been resolved as well.

All the best,
Olesya
