Since most people in Kansas refer to Kansas State Highways in the “K-7” and “K-96” format, I propose that Waze uses this format for all state highway names in Kansas.

I agree with your suggestion. Many seem to want to have localization based on forum posts, to represent their local highways, they drive them everyday, they hear them on the news everyday, we all refer to them as their local reference. It isn’t going to be hard to implement with TTS because it should say K-XX anyways in Kansas. I have seen signs that were like K-XX, it would go with matching the signs and the client. It will be easy to change here, I am for it.
