go down to a 1?
Reason is that it’s no right turn from Brunswick St onto Kincardine Rd heading NW, and you can’t go straight on NW along Kincardine Rd crossing Brunswick St, although you can turn left from Brunswick St onto Kincardine Rd NW. Oh, and the geometry is all to cock!

2 is more than adequate. 
There’s a maximum locking policy in the UK Wiki. Primary streets shouldn’t normally be locked above 2 unless there are special circumstances. However the map is still full of “legacy” locks - locks above the new maximums, or from the old days when all we had was a tiock box and editors’ segment locks got upgraded when they did.
