Temporary signs at either end indicate Slack Fold Lane is to be closed for 5 days from Monday 10th August. The signs don’t give hours, so I presume this is a continuous closure rather than just daytimes.
No details given as to why. I think it’s unlikely to be resurfacing - that was done only last year and the road is generally in good condition.

Based on where the signs are, it seems access to the Essa Academy will still be available from the Morris Green (North) end of Slack Fold Lane - hence the single-segment permalink.

I’ve entered the closure, but only to the school as requested, even though it says full length on the TRO. It want make much difference.

Interesting. Based on the diagram in that PDF it seems the Council and Waze maps disagree about what actually counts as Slack Fold Lane and what is Morris Green Lane. Thanks for adding the closure.
