Hi all,
how could we add the closures for the races in Košice for the first stage of the Okolo Slovenska (Tour of Slovakia) cycling race? It’s a major traffic restriction.
I know which streets are being closed, but I don’t know exactly for how long, and especially when they will return to the city, where they will do a large lap once or twice and then head to the finish line back on Rooseveltova Street by the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel, which is also where it will start.
The start is at 13:00 and the estimated end or finish is at 17:15.

I am setting up closures based on information from the city of Košice on Rooseveltova, Pribinova, Greššáková, and Mojmírová streets, part of Timonova Street, and the area between the Dargov department store and the Hilton hotel, which are to be completely closed from midnight between September 14 and 15 until September 16, 8:00 PM.

See, I didn’t notice that, but thanks for finding it. When I was looking for info, it hadn’t been published yet. So what about the road closures in the city during the race? Shall we set an approximate time based on the route?
Does that mean during the start and then from 16:35 until about 17:20? I mean the streets where the peloton will be doing those laps: Rooseveltova, Pribinova, Mojmírova, Štúrova, the Moldavská cesta roundabout, Trieda SNP, Festivalové námestie, Watsonova, Čermeľská cesta, Hlinkova, Národná trieda, Gorkého, the roundabout by the Jumbo Center (Gorkého x Štefánikova x Hviezdoslavova x Masarykova), Štefánikova, and Protifašistických bojovníkov.
That route schedule is for the way back into the city where they’ll be headed; it’s exactly the street description I listed above…
I noticed that closures were reported on Drevny trh and Krmanova streets, and since it’s related to the event, please also add a closure for these road segments at the same time:

Additionally, the Košice Regional Police published this info yesterday evening:
From 12:45 to 13:30, the route from the Komenského/Hlinkova intersection towards Čermeľská – Jahodná – Košická Belá will be closed.
From 16:00 to 18:00, traffic will be restricted on the route Košická Belá – Jahodná – Čermeľská – Hlinkova – Národná trieda – Štefánikova – Rooseveltova – Štúrova – Moldavská – Trieda SNP – Festivalové námestie – Watsonova.
So, please set a scheduled road closure. If needed, I can also send a permalink for the circuit…
