Hopefully I’ve got all the information that’s required for this closure to be added in:
A permalink including all the segments that require closing: https://www.waze.com/editor?env=row&lon=-1.90712&lat=52.48004&s=70622487&zoom=7&segments=321251302,321251306,321251353,321251416,321251417,353922171,321250988,321248788,353922170,321250904,353922173,122576573,333158707,122581878
A short, simple reason to show in the client for the closure: Tram Line Extension
A start date and time. 05:00 Monday 3rd September 2018 End date Summer 2019 So I would suggest 1 October 2019 as they never run these extension jobs on time.
Any online links, in case the editor setting the closure wants to check something

Thanks. I added them in 6 month chunks upto 1 year from now - that’s the furthest waze will let you add closured out until.
I found this too http://metroalliance.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Paradise-Circus-Closure-Diversion-Map-Print-and-Web-Ready-Final.pdf Do you think we should do anything on Holliday Street?
It will be open for access to the 3 hotels and the office block only as far as I can tell. I’ll take a walk down there next week on my way to work and see if there’s a definitive answer on the actual street as to what the situation will be.
I’ve checked and Holiday Street will be access only. It won’t be available to normal traffic so probably best to give it the same closure details as the other roads.
From my understanding of the plans, Holiday St will be access only for large vehicles, there will be no restrictions for cars.
You’re right. Never trust the traffic Marshall’s to actually know what’s coming
I read “Large vehicle access only” to mean only large vehicles could use it, and not for a through-road - i.e. it was for all intents and purposes closed except for lorries using it perhaps to drop off supplies for building works.
coupled with the right-turn-only sign at the Bridge Street junction with Holiday Street
I’ll once again reach out to my contact in the Metro Alliance, who did suggest they would keep me informed of their works, but haven’t.
I’ve replaced the closure on Holiday Street until I receive a reply.
Got a response and clarification:
I have removed the Holiday St closure.
