Reason for request: All these segments are signed as Access only and have been restricted to all traffic at all times stopping Waze routing into this estate. Please can the restrictions on these segments be removed and the segments set to Private Road instead to allow correct routing but prevent through routing :geek:
This will solve the UR on Stanley Road, and likely the UR on Chelmsford Road also.
Might be an idea to have a quick check with the previous editor to understand the rationale for this. It may have been a mistake, but you can ask!

Ah, the pitfalls of crowdsourced map maintenance… Reading through your description of the problem above, it rang a rather loud bell at the back of my mind, and a quick search back through my own post history revealed that exactly the same problem had occurred here a couple of years ago, and exactly the same solution discussed and implemented:

There’s no sign of the NOTE UR I left here at the time, and it’s not one of the handful I can remember having been closed by another editor, so I’m assuming I must have deleted that one after a few months of stability, thinking that the changes were safe from being reverted by whoever had set up the access restrictions incorrectly there in the first place… I really should start thinking a bit longer-term!
Anyway, since the fixes you’ve proposed are exactly how I fixed it last time, I’ve re-implemented them. Let’s see how long they last this time…

While I was reviewing the changes I spotted that this node on Bunces Lane has some turns disallowed preventing routing along the 1-way and out of the stub road. There also seems to be a link road missing from the group of houses to the north of Bunces Ln. Would someone like to do the honours, even though it’s L1 it’s still outside my area

I don’t go online for a few days and then this happens. 
I can see why it was done by Restrictions and I have had UR’s complaining of Invisible road. When you make a road a Private road it does not show as clear as a normal road in the app. Since at the locations there is a sign showing “No Motor Vehicles Except for Access” at the ends. This I guess was the reason it was does this way. Also if people do what I do and ignore the signs and drive through we could have another M11 works unit problem.
I don’t go through here as much as I use to since sadly the Great Aunts who used to the live in the area have either died or are now in a Home. 
The problem with using restrictions is that in addition to blocking through routing as required, they also block routing into the estate… So it’s either use restrictions to make the map look pretty but break routing to any destination within the estate, or use private roads to allow correct routing and accept that they don’t look quite as good. Not a difficult choice to make.
