L5 Editor Required - A5047 - W Derby St - Liverpool

Hello, first of all please forgive me if this is in wrong category. Wasn’t sure if this should be posted in Unlocks. If so, can a mod please move the thread.

I have come across a UR on A5047 - W Derby St in Liverpool. There is currently a one-way system in place between A5048 - Crown St and A5048 (N) - Minshull St with traffic permitted only Eastbound on this section.

I was originally the one that put these restriction in place with a request in the unlock forum, but since then, there seems to have been a few people messing around with the restrictions and ditchi56 having to tidy them up and add a comment to stop people removing them.

The issue is that not all segments have the correct restrictions on them now with traffic not permitted westbound on some segments and not permitted eastbound on others, meaning that Waze now will not route drivers either way down that road.

I am requesting a L5 editor (as that is the highest level lock in place in these segments) to please look into these segments and correct the restrictions. I could post a long list of unlocks and do it myself, but will probably be quicker and easier if a L5 simply does any tidying up and possibly uplocking to prevent further damage.

OK, I’ve had a go.

You say traffic is permitted to flow eastbound only. Therefore on a 2-way road, we need to leave the eastbound direction alone, and put a restriction on the westbound direction.

These two segments have A in the east and B in the west. And they had a B->A restrictions, which in both cases meant that eastbound traffic was blocked and westbound was allowed - the reverse of what was required. I’ve copied the original restrictions to A->B, and deleted them from B->A.

Is this now correct, or have got myself back to front?

Further east at the main road junction there are some restrictions on the 1-way westbound street, and prohibitions on turning into it. I think these are fine as they are and have left them.

Kyra, if you are happy, could you also use livemap “report a problem” to create a [CLOSURE] UR here explaining the problem for future editors. If you start the text with “[CLOSURE]”, people can then use the URO+ script to filter it out when they are scanning for problems that need fixing.

I have checked the restrictions and all looks correct to me. I have also added a closure UR to the map, as suggested, with all relevant information as to the direction of closure and also the effective dates.
