Please update the westbound M4 at the Severn Bridges:
For the main (Prince of Wales) bridge (https://www.waze.com/editor?env=row&lon=-2.78661&lat=51.58006&s=1463812095&zoom=4&segments=300884746,211873944,298739703,298739704)
- Please add closure for 8pm to 6am tonight (14th December), tomorrow (15th December) and Sunday (16th December).
For the second Severn Bridge (https://www.waze.com/editor?env=row&lon=-2.62199&lat=51.60275&s=1463812095&zoom=6&segments=285475696)
- Please add closure from 6am Monday to 6am Wednesday (this is an all-day closure of Monday and Tuesday), the start time has only been given as “shortly after the main bridge opens”.
For the main bridge:
- the 50mph section starts east of the current point, and finishes west of the current point, and there’s now average speed cameras. I have added the two cameras onto the map, and I’ve also added a comment (which you can delete) showing where the 50mph starts, and where the NSL resumes. Please update the roads to show that it’s now an Average Speed Limit road. These are due to be removed, and 70 mph throughout in 2019.
Additionally, from Monday:
- The speed limit will be 50mph (currently showing as 30mph on the main bridge and 70mph on the second bridge) on the stretches going through the ‘old’ tolls
- Both bridges will no longer be toll.
