Could somebody please down-lock these segments so I can urgently amend junction 12 for traffic approaching from the M62 Eastbound? The latest phase of the roadworks has seen the sliproads totally reconfigured as of the morning of Monday 3rd (see my UR) so that there is no longer an early split between M60 (N) and all other traffic. Effectively there is now only one exit slip-road to the M60 from the mainline (which becomes M602). The exit is for all lane 1 traffic and an option for lane 2 - that sliproad then has a right-hand exit for M60 (S) traffic (accessible from lane 2 only), while M60 (N) traffic continues ahead.

Slight aside: Given signs indicating that Eastbound traffic using the contraflow (lane 3) can only access the M602, I had wondered if the latest phase of the works might mean we needed to represent the 5-mile contraflow by adding a temporary third way in between the 2 main carriageways - which would effectively move the start of the M602 to just after J11. However, despite the misleading signs, it is still physically possible (though probably not wise) to access the M60 from Lane 3 as the contraflow still ends just before the junction, so I do not think adding miles of extra segments to the Waze map is necessary or helpful.

I’m more than happy to update the junction but can’t until or unless it is downlocked.

Very likely all of this will need changing again in late August.

Thanks,
David.

Downlocked for you.
Ian

Thanks.

I believe this is now all done. Please do take a look and feedback as required - or re-lock if all is well.

All good. Locks restored
