When approaching a junction waze will say for example take N7 N. BUT the board signs will show N7 Goodwood or N7 Malmesbury. So when new to an area you do not know which is which … This is where google maps are step ahead.
Looking at the next junction over the ramps are not named with their exit numbers. This seems counter intuitive though - surely if you’re unfamiliar with an area you’d still be familiar with which direction you’re going? Having said that the ramps should be correctly named to include the relevant numbers i.e. Exit 13A: N7 Malmesbury
In my opinion it’s easier for me to follow a cardinal direction as opposed to place direction but then again not everyone seems to know that the sun rises in the East.
