I raised the UR here myself as Waze directed me to U turn and this is not allowed. I can’t fix this myself as one of the roads is L5 locked. Please could someone downlock so I can fix it?
Thanks!
I’ve reduced the lock to L3, is that sufficient? That junction has some reverse connections which could usefully be sorted too.
Sorry, I forgot to say - I’ll need Level 2 please. I had a plan to address some of the connections, until I was thwarted by the one L5 segment.
Can you provide a permalink to the exact segments you want unlocked. I’d rather be minimal when downlocking below L3.

I hope this is OK. I’ll need all five adjacent A34 segments downlocking so I can change turn permissions. If I can change the lower connection to two way, address a couple of turn permissions, the junction will be sorted and you can lock again.
Off you go then. Be careful!
I have completed the update. My plan A would have allowed (wrongly) a U turn from the other direction, so I had to change more than initially expected. Hopefully you are OK with my solution? Thanks
If you made that central segment 10m or less and kept it unnamed, it should prevent u-turns without the need for the complicated separate turn lanes.
Thanks, that’s a useful tip. Looking at the scale on the map, it appears that the two carriageways are about 20m apart. I’m not sure how to shorten the central segment without closing the gap for the whole A34.
Please could you advise further? An elegant solution would be great!
I’ll have another look tomorrow. There is a solution (the bow tie) but opinion is divided on it. Personally I’m not in favour.

Ok, a few minutes spare time: that’s how I would do it, an almost imperceptible narrowing up to the junction. By all means change it back if you don’t like it. I’m quite sure other editors would have their own favoured styles. I’ve also changed the rather odd restrictions into (but not out of) the car park on Church Rd.
Thanks for the masterclass - I love the beautiful simplicity!
