L5 – unlock – SZR to Hessa St. exit

Hi,

Is it, please, possible to lower the lock level of the following segments from 5/4 to 3?

At the moment this ramp is connected ~350 m before the actual exit, which, I think, is not justified. (The “now, exit right” announcement comes way too early). My idea is to connect it much later, maybe around 75 m before the actual exit.

I’ve lowered the lock for you. Actually the general advice is to connect a ramp at the actual end of the exit. So from the point where you can’t turn anymore. A little bit (~25m)before is ok as well.

it suggests a bit different approach…?

When placing the beginning of a ramp, place the first geometry node of the ramp segment at the point where the solid white line begins, and extend the ramp naturally to create a junction with the road segment, typically at a 10–15° angle. This will allow for consistent timing of exit instructions.
