L5 unlock/update M25 around j6

(1) M25 ACW segment between J6 and J5 https://www.waze.com/editor/?lon=-0.00954&lat=51.26332&zoom=2&env=row&segments=180690200 (Although J6 to J5 is three segments due to Clackets Lane Services), I only propose updating the one starting at J6).

To create time restricted closures for overnight works on 16 and 23 November. See http://www.highways.gov.uk/roads/road-projects/M25-Junctions-5-7-Managed-Motorways, click “Journey Impact”, and scroll down to “ADVANCE NOTICE BELOW”.

(2) M25 CW segment between J6 and J7 https://www.waze.com/editor/?lon=-0.09134&lat=51.25975&zoom=3&env=row&segments=121560993

To create time restricted closure for overnight works on 30 November. Same link as above, next line (at the time of writing).

Both wholly or partly inside my AM area. I’m level 4.

Downlocked, is that ok?

Yes, thanks for the “downlock” - not come across that word before, but it conveys the action perfectly.

I think I have input the restrictions correctly, but please check as I wouldn’t want to close the M25 in the wrong place or at the wrong time.

I have discovered that you mustn’t be too verbose in the description of an access restriction. If you are, it appears to be OK, but later you get “an error while saving”. It took me a while to work out why I was getting that helpful diagnostic.

Don’t know whether you want to re-uplock to L5, or leave the segments at L4 so that I can remove the restrictions after they’ve passed? Theoretically it would do no harm to leave them permanently, but I think it would be better to tidy up and delete expired restrictions.

OK, the first restriction I read as closed between 2200 and 0600 for every Saturday between (and including) 16/11 to 23/11 for all vehicles.

The second one as closed for Saturday 30/11 only between 2200 and 0600 for all vehicles.

Is that what you intended?

Yep, that sounds right. Two Saturday nights for the first one, only one night for the second.
Thanks.

Let’s remove the restrictions as soon as the event has passed (no point in keeping them and something might/will always go wrong) and then “uplock”.
